Long Island Muslim Society (LIMS) is a religious, educational and not-for-profit organization that was established in 1990. LIMS is dedicated to the service of the community through educational programs, interfaith dialogue, and humanitarian services.

Dear Respected Members of the LIMS Community,
Greetings of peace and blessings on this joyous occasion of Eid al-Adha!
On behalf of Long Island Muslim Society community, we extend our warmest wishes for a blessed and prosperous Eid.
As we celebrate this momentous day, let us reflect on the teachings of sacrifice and devotion that Eid al-Adha embodies. May we find strength and inspiration in the example of Prophet Ibrahim’s unwavering faith. May our hearts be filled with gratitude for the blessings we have received.
Eid Prayer Schedule:
The Eid prayer will be held on Friday, June 6th, 2025 insha’Allah.
We will have four prayer sessions:
· 7:00 AM – Led by Sh. Zubair Khair
· 8:30 AM – Led by Imam Ahmadullah Kamal
· 9:30 AM – Led by Sh. Akmal Sakhi
· 10:30 AM – Led by Sh. Sefat Saleh
Important Guidelines for a Smooth Experience:
· Please arrive with wudu.
· We encourage everyone to arrive at least 15 minutes before their selected prayer time.
· To ease congestion, we strongly encourage carpooling with family and friends.
· No parking will be available in the LIMS parking lot.
Parking is available at:
– The adjacent church parking lot
– On-street parking (Please be mindful not to block driveways or roadways.)
Post-Prayer Refreshments:
Light refreshments and Coffee, Chai & Ice-creams will be served outside in the designated tent as you depart.
May Allah accept our prayers and good deeds. May we always be guided by His Wisdom and Mercy. We look forward to celebrating this blessed day with you. Eid Mubarak!
