Criteria:
Any Muslim who pays the membership dues and is willing to abide by the Constitution of the Long Island Muslim Society is eligible for this Membership. A member has all the rights and privileges granted by the constitution and its bylaws.
Membership Type:
Life Member: a member who fulfills the membership criteria and contributes a sum of money in one installment as determined by the executive committee. He/she has lifelong rights and privileges of regular membership.
Honorary Member: Honorary membership may be conferred by the executive committee upon any person who has rendered exemplary services to the organization and/or the cause of Islam. Honorary members cannot participate in the election process or hold any office.
