LIMS – Nikah Policy and Procedure

These guidelines outline the rules, requirements, and process for couples wishing to conduct their Nikah (Islamic marriage) through LIMS.

LIMS provides Nikah services for Muslim couples who wish to perform their marriage ceremony at our facility.
All Nikahs are officiated by the designated LIMS religious leadership. Specific requests for an imam may be accommodated based on availability.

Procedure

Submit a Nikah Request

Submit a Nikah RequestComplete the online Nikah Request Form on the LIMS website.

Upload Required Documents

Attach all necessary identification and documentation as listed in the policy section.

Acknowledgment Email

Once the form is submitted, you will receive an acknowledgment email. Please keep this for your records.

LIMS Administration Review

Contact the requesting family via email or phone,  Schedule a meeting to review the ceremony flow, logistics, and requirements,  Notify the family regarding the approval status of the request

Additional Forms

The operations team will send a supplementary form that must be completed by the family as soon as possible.

Policy

General Rules
  • All rules and guidelines must be adhered to. Non-compliance may result in cancellation of the ceremony.

  • Only LIMS-approved religious leadership may officiate the Nikah.

  • Distribution of food is limited to pre-packed sweets only in the lobby area. No meals (breakfast, lunch, or dinner) are allowed.

Dress Code
  • Modest attire is required for all guests, including participants, family members, and photographers—Muslim or non-Muslim.

  • Anyone not adhering to the dress code will be asked to leave the premises.

  • Prohibited attire includes:

    • Transparent or see-through clothing

    • Short skirts

Event Regulations
  • Music and nasheeds are strictly prohibited.

  • Men and women must maintain separate seating.

  • Event start and end times will be strictly enforced.

  • Only partitions provided by LIMS may be used.

  • Cultural or banquet-style décor and practices are not permitted, including:

    • Flower curtains

    • Grand entrances

    • Men and women gathering in entrances or lobby areas

Rights and Reservations
  • LIMS reserves the right to refuse service at any time, with or without explanation.

  • The main hall will be reserved for the Nikah ceremony for a maximum of 60 minutes from the scheduled start time.
